Is there going to be a new version of this software soon to fix the minor problems?

I feel that we add lots of comments about the program especially over the last year but there is no new version.

Hey,
Tnx for writing the program! The idea is awesome, but sadly enough i cant get all features working.

Installing went quite smooth with the link in the email that was send together with the authentication code. After a few hiccups I got my installation of raspian and rPlay ready to test.

Screen mirroring, and streaming sound worked like a charm from all iDevices (iPad2, Iphone 4S and the macBookPro). When it came to streaming video things turned bad. Every attempt to stream a video from youtube failed. Regardless of me using mirroring, chrome cast or airPlay. Regardless of the device.
The error that shows when I run
Failed to open media file: unintesting youtubelinkie thats extremely long

Exit playing the video ...

when trying to view a video while using the iPad2 and screen mirroring

raop connection init(conn=0x1b84850)

The Authenication code i double checked including for extra spaces and was checked in the config file.
I'used the audio solver stated a couple of pages back on this page. Nothing changed.

from what i've read so far i assume it is an authentication issue. That said i have a fairly customized router and port if there is any info on what ports are needed to be forwarded to keep the rPlayPi to work proper might be helpfull.

I Hope there is some way to overcome this problem. As said, i really love the idea of this program!
Keep up the good work!
Best,

Rod

edit1:
P.S. If someone has a solution of this problem i would love to hear about it.

edit2:
P.P.S Did another complete reinstall today; same issues. Though i have noticed that streaming videos from from the phone\tablat is working proper. So im starting to think its a problem with the youtube_dl. Instalation ran iwthout a problem and updating worked aswell. When i rebooter rplay it did mention a change in distribution and it updated itself (also succesfull). So basically my findings so far is that everything works lovely except for youtube. mirroring. I will do some more testing later today or tomorrow and will share my findings.

I recently installed rPlay in Raspbian on my Raspberry Pi Model B+; all of the instructions were clear as a bell, and within Windows, I have AirParrot installed, and the desktop is displayed on my monitor without issues, but there's no audio.

Also, when I run Netflix via Internet Explorer, there's no video, except it does get the Closed Captioning, video playback control bar, and so on, except for the video feed (possibly needs a codec to get installed).

Is there any way I can stream my laptop's audio to rPlay? I'll post updates about the AirParrot; I might as well test iTunes and my dad's iPad mini with the AirPlay to see if both the Audio and Video playback works.

Also, so far, no crashes to report yet, except a couple of minor issues (nothing too serious).

Edit (from post above):
iTunes throws an error code 156 (possibly an incompatibility with iTunes), but the XBMC AirPlay works with iTunes.

The audio in AirParrot, on the other hand, there's no driver for Windows; although it says connecting after establishing a connection, it still won't play audio through at all.

I'm running Windows 8.1 Professional on an ASUS X54C laptop; I'm really puzzled.
